Competitive Figure Skater
My journey began as a competitive figure skater, where I experienced firsthand the many factors that influence performance beyond physical skill—confidence, pressure, motivation, setbacks, and identity.
UC San Diego | Human Development
At UC San Diego, I studied the interdisciplinary field of Human Development. I began to see how our development is shaped by the interaction of our psychology, relationships, environments, and experiences.
Professional Performer & Performance Manager
After college, I spent nearly a decade as a professional figure skater, touring internationally and working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. As I moved into a performance management role, I gained experience leading teams and saw how communication, relationships, team dynamics and individual differences can influence performance.
Competitive-Level Coach
As a coach, I've brought these experiences back to my work with competitive-level athletes. Coaching has continued to shape my understanding of the athlete as a whole person—not simply someone pursuing a result.
Performance Consulting | Supporting the Holistic Athlete
These experiences are what drew me to the field of performance consulting. My goal is to help athletes develop the mental skills and self-awareness to perform with greater confidence, navigate challenges and continually strive toward their greatest potential-while remembering that their worth extends far beyond their results.
